F/262 is more than a photography festival — it’s a public stage for contemporary image-makers to share work that sparks conversation. Our exhibitions bring together emerging and established photographers from Portugal and beyond, in both indoor and outdoor settings across Caldas da Rainha.
We believe photography belongs in the streets, in institutions, in unconventional spaces — and in dialogue with the community.
F/262 showcases a curated selection of contemporary photography in both traditional and unconventional spaces across Caldas da Rainha and Óbidos, Our goal is to bring powerful, honest work into the streets, galleries, and places people live and move through.
The exhibitions reflect the themes of the festival and explore photography as a tool for connection, resistance, and reflection.
