“THEY FIGHT FOR US TOO” AT THE MUSEUM OF THE PRESIDENCY OF THE REPUBLIC

F/262 – International Photography Festival presents, at the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic, an international photography exhibition documenting the war in Ukraine through the eyes of members of the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP).
This exhibition is a production of Associação F/SOS – Fotografia, Solidariedade e Obras Sociais, part of F/262 – International Photography Festival, in collaboration with UAPP – Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers.
From the front lines to the stories of civilians, refugees, and communities affected by the conflict, the images reveal the human impact of war, but also the resilience, dignity, and hope of a people who continue to resist.
The exhibition is enriched by original texts by Ana Bárbara Pedrosa, Ana Margarida de Carvalho, Gonçalo M. Tavares, Julieta Monginho, and Rui Couceiro, creating a dialogue between photography and literature, image and word, testimony and memory.
Please note: this exhibition includes documentary images that may be potentially shocking or emotionally difficult, given the nature of the subject matter.
