Discover the F/262 Program
Photography isn’t just what you see. It’s how you experience it.
F/262 immerses Caldas da Rainha and Óbidos in visual storytelling—through public installations, outdoor cinema, intimate talks, hands-on workshops, and specialized mini-festivals like the Analog Lab, Photo Book Club, and Foto Film Fest.
It is more than a festival: it is a living platform where images create dialogue, where communities meet, and where art engages with urgent themes such as water and the environment. Whether you come to exhibit, to learn, or simply to be inspired, there is a place for you in the program.

F/262 Analog Lab
Step into the world of analog and alternative processes. From pinhole cameras made out of Coke cans to cyanotypes and experimental darkroom sessions, the Analog Lab celebrates photography’s tactile and hands-on side.

F/262 Photo Book Club
A weekend dedicated to the photobook. Through talks, launches, book signings, and a curated fair, the F/262 Photo Book Club highlights photography in its printed, collectible form and connects publishers, artists, and audiences.

F/262 Foto Film Fest
he F/262 Foto Film Fest is where the still image comes alive through motion. Spanning Caldas da Rainha and Óbidos, the festival presents a program of films, documentaries, and audiovisual works that reflect on photography, visual culture, and our relationship with the environment.
At the heart of the experience are outdoor screenings under the night sky—moments when historic plazas, courtyards, and cultural venues become open-air stages. Audiences gather collectively in both cities to experience cinema in dialogue with photography, surrounded by architecture and landscapes that hold centuries of artistic tradition.
The program highlights the work of directors of photography, visual artists, and storytellers who reveal how light, landscape, and human presence shape moving and still images alike.
This edition places a special focus on water as a source of life, memory, and transformation. From rivers and oceans to environmental challenges and solutions, the Foto Film Fest uses the screen to spark dialogue about our fragile ecosystems and the role of visual storytelling in building awareness and change.
Exhibitions
From large-format public installations to gallery showcases, our exhibitions bring powerful imagery into the heart of the city. Featuring local and international photographers, each show is curated to open conversations and shift perspectives.

Speakers & Conversations
F/262 invites bold voices from across the creative world—photographers, editors, curators, and thinkers—for a series of talks, panels, and roundtable conversations. Listen, reflect, and engage directly with leaders shaping contemporary photography.
