The F/262 International Photography Festival invites photographers worldwide to be part of its first edition in 2026 in Caldas da Rainha — a UNESCO Creative City. Whether you submit a single image or a complete series, this is your opportunity to exhibit your vision at Portugal’s newest festival dedicated to contemporary photography.
For 2026, the festival embraces the sub-theme of water, inviting projects that reflect, question, or reinterpret its cultural, social, and environmental significance. Submissions are welcome across all open call categories, from awards to curated exhibitions.

Single Image & Series — Main International Prize
Enter your strongest single image or a cohesive series. Open to all genres and approaches, with selected works showcased at the festival and eligible for prizes/publication. 2026 sub‑theme: Water is encouraged but not required.
Curated Projects & Series
Pitch a Body of Work for Exhibition
Submit a complete or in‑progress project for curatorial review. Selected works may be presented as solo or group installations across Caldas da Rainha. The Water sub‑theme is invited but optional.
F/SOS: Stories of Solidarity Award
Social Impact Through Images
Celebrate stories of care, resilience, and community—documentary or conceptual, single image or series. Judges value ethical practice, consent, and impact. Entries engaging the Water sub‑theme are welcome (not mandatory).
