\u201cGaleria no Bairro\u201d (Gallery in the Neighbourhood) is a collaborative initiative developed by the F\/262 \u2013 International Photography Festival, Caldas Bairro Comercial, the Municipality of Caldas da Rainha, and the F\/SOS Association \u2013 Photography, Solidarity and Social Works.<\/p>\n
Inspired by the concept of an open-air gallery, the project takes photography beyond traditional exhibition spaces and integrates it into the city\u2019s commercial landscape.
\nThroughout the route, each participating business hosts a single photograph, inviting residents and visitors alike to discover the artist\u2019s work while exploring Caldas da Rainha\u2019s local shops.

\nSkodvin is the author of four photobooks, including 240 Landscapes, which Martin Parr selected as one of the best photobooks published in 2015.
\nThroughout his career, he has been nominated for the Leica Oskar Barnack Award and the Magnum Photography Awards. He has received numerous honours at the Norwegian Picture of the Year Awards.<\/p>\n
\nEach participating venue hosts a photograph from Helge Skodvin\u2019s Humour Photos series, creating a walking route that connects contemporary photography with the city\u2019s vibrant commercial life.
